
RICHARD DILLON
Involved in bowling in Saginaw for 34 years and an excellent bowler with a high game of 290 and high series of 733, his credits include an 11 in-a-row plaque and Bowler of the Week award in the 2007-2008 bowling season. Throughout his career he has been successful in placing in numerous tournaments, including several ABC-USBC tournaments, Saginaw City Tournaments and 700 Club Tournaments. Starting in 1974, he was active on the ABC-USBC Board for 34 years, serving as past President of the board during the 1991-1992 season. He was also a committee member of the Sagianw Bowling Hall of Fame Board, and has the distinction of being the 1st certified Lane Inspector in Saginaw.
JIM HOFFMAN
With more than 40 years in the sport, he had been a superior performer carrying averages over 200+ for many years. During his career he had five 800 series with a high of 827, seventeen 300, five 299, and two 298 games. he had numerous awards to his credit which included three Saginaw City Team titles, two Doubles titles, two Singles titles and an All Events City Title. He placed in many tournaments which included money placements in the Peterson Classic and a 1st place finish in the Singles Event in both the Richville Classic and Cass City Thumb Tournaments. He was a member of a three man team that rolled a total of 34 out of 36 strikes for a single game in which he rolled an actual 300. He was also a member of the Saginaw All-Star Team and the 700 Club.
Jim will be missed by all.
MARGE PRUD'HOMME
Bowling for more than 68 years, she has always been very active in the behind the scenes workings of the sport. In 1956 she helped organize the GM Girls State Tournament which had it's first tournament in 1957 and it's last in 2007, in which she bowled all 50 tournaments and was an active board member the entire time. Elected to the SWBA in 1987, she served as past President for 4 years, attended 16 National Conventions, several State Conventions, and attended 5 Clare MWBA Workshops in her 18 years on the board. She has been a BVL representative since 1990 and has served on many committees, including the Ways & Means, Nominating, Legislation, New Member Orientation and the Procedural Manual just to name a few. She was President for 2 years and secretary for 28 years of the Sacred Heart League which later became the Women's Community League. Through she will tell you she has never been a high average bowler, she enjoys the sport and the friends that she has made over the years.
ART SEIFERLEIN
Bowler of the Week in 1962 and still carrying averages in the 200's, he had his highest average of 235 at the age of 65. He has had six 800 series, fifteen 300 games and three 299 games of which one was rolled in the City Tournament. he was a member of the City Championship Teams in 1995, 1997 and 2000. In 2008 he was the Poor Charlie's Doubles Event winner with partner Randy Hall and in 2010 had a 740 actual series on the Senior All-Star Team of which he has been a member for 12 years. He has participated in the Peterson Classic for 40 years, in which he has been successful in placing on the prize list. On his 68th Birthday, he rolled an 814 series which also included a 298 game, and during that same year also rolled an actual 300 game. he is a good sport and has always loved the social aspect of the game.
